The process to start therapy
The process at Brighter Life Therapy is very simple:
- Send me an email, and I will review and respond to you within 1-2 working days. I will provide my recommendations for therapy. If I can help, I will send you a link to book an assessment with me.
- Book online for an assessment session, which can take place within just a few days. Please note that you will need to pay upfront for the assessment to secure your slot.
- After your assessment, I can then book you into further treatment sessions to understand what’s keeping the problem going, and then work on techniques to manage the problems. Therapy can range from anything between 8 and 30 sessions; the average is around 15 sessions.
If you have health insurance, please let me know, and I can confirm if this is one of the insurers I work with.
I try extremely hard to keep a low waiting list (or ideally none at all) to ensure fast access to the support you need. Unfortunately, there can sometimes be a wait for child CBT assessments due to the huge need but little provision nationally.
