I offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to help you or your child achieve better wellbeing.
I mainly offer sessions virtually, i.e. via zoom or google meet, which works really well. Read more about this below.
Read below to see what I offer and the fees for therapy and other services. Please get in touch to discuss more.

Adult assessment and treatment sessions
50 minute sessions using CBT or other psychotherapies to assess and manage your difficulties with your mental health difficulties
£100

Child (under 18) assessment and treatment sessions
50 minute appointment using CBT or other psychotherapies to manage your child’s mental health difficulties.
£125
Please note that rates for children are higher due to the additional time spent outside of sessions. This includes liaising with parents, schools and other professionals (with your consent).
Treatment for both adults and children tends to last between 10 and 30 sessions, as research shows this provides long-lasting change for clients. It is therefore recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), which guides UK health services in what treatments to offer. The average number of sessions our clients tend to need is 13-20.
Block bookings
I also offer reduced rates for direct block bookings of treatment sessions: 10% off when booking 6 sessions as a block to be paid upfront. There will not be a time limit or end date for you to use your sessions. You also do not have to use all your sessions in one go. For instance, you might like to spread out the last few sessions over a few months to consolidate your learning.
I would not advise you to block-book treatment sessions until after you have had an assessment, to ensure that you are happy with your therapist and the service, as I do not provide refunds on block bookings. This is so that you are sure that a course of therapy could be helpful.
Remote sessions
I opened the clinic during the pandemic, and as such, I only offered support via video call or telephone. I have continued to offer video calls and telephone treatment, as it has been so effective.
I have been able to see more clients as there is less travel time. My clients have also told me they love the flexibility around work, school and other commitments.
There is also loads of evidence emerging about how remote therapy is just as effective as face-to-face therapy. This is an up-and-coming area of therapy research. The benefits include: no travel time, flexibility around your commitments, a sense of anonymity and reduced risk of catching Covid-19 or any other illness.
The only exception to this is that I have partnered with Wellington College to offer on-site CBT to some of their students.
How to pay
For assessments, you’ll be asked to pay online at the time of booking your session, via the online booking tool, using a credit or debit card.
For treatment sessions, I will send you an invoice to be paid via debit/credit card or BACs within 1 week. If you want to prepay for a block of 6 treatment sessions, you will receive a 10% discount, also payable via debit/credit card or BACs.
If you are coming via an insurance provider such as WPA or Cigna, I will invoice them directly for your sessions.
Insurers I work with
I am registered with WPA, Cigna and Aviva.
Please note, I do not work with Bupa, AXA or Vitality due to their low pay rates to therapists.
I’m always open to working with additional insurance providers, provided they offer fair rates for therapists. When you contact me, please let me know which provider you’re with, and I’ll be happy to see what cover may be available to you.
In some cases, I’m able to register with new insurance providers at a client’s request to support therapy through their policy. If you’re with an insurer I’m not currently registered with, please get in touch, and I’ll be happy to explore the options with you.
Cancellations
Please contact me as soon as possible if you have to cancel or change an appointment.
I will not charge you for cancelling appointments, unless you provide me with less than 1 full working day’s notice (excluding weekends and bank holidays). This will then mean I will still bill you for the full rate (or the session will come out of one of the pre-paid blocks of sessions). Whilst I really dislike doing this, I am often unable to offer an appointment to anyone else on such short notice, and the hour goes unfilled.
To reduce the chance of this happening, I will send an email reminder to you 72 hours before the session, so you can contact me as soon as possible if you do need to cancel or move the session.
Other non-therapy fees
Please email me directly about our fees for lecturing, training events, and consultancy to other professionals.
