Anjali is a trained and accredited CBT Therapist and lecturer/supervisor on CBT courses at the University of Reading.

She has a decade of experience providing face to face/telephone/online therapy, designing and running therapeutic groups, providing consultancy to other professionals, universities and the film industry, and working on various research projects investigating online CBT, depression protocols for adolescents and raising awareness of Medically Unexplained Symptoms (MUS).

Anjali has worked with children, adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, eating disorders, psychosis and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a number of roles in the community and in inpatient hospitals.

Anjali utilises a very collaborative approach, believing that she may be the expert in therapy, but you are the expert of your own experience. Anjali describes doing this job for the lightbulb moments when her clients realise what is keeping their problems going and recognise how to break the vicious cycle. Anjali draws mainly from CBT therapy, but also utilises mindfulness, social skills training, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

In her free time, Anjali can be found eating and drinking out, reading thriller novels, and spending time with friends and family, particularly her little nephews.
