Ready to start working on boosting your self-esteem?

This course will help you work out where your low self-esteem came from, why it stuck around, and most importantly, how to overcome it once and for all.

Module 1

The first module will help you to define low self-esteem, and understand what a healthier self-esteem looks like. You’ll understand what kickstarts low self-esteem, and the impact it has on us in so many ways, and have the opportunity to write this down.

Module 2

In this module, you’ll start to focus on why your low self-esteem is being maintained. What thoughts and behaviours might be accidentally keeping it going? You’ll have the space to map out your personalised cycle.

Module 3

This is where it gets meaty! You’ll go through five techniques to boost your self-esteem. It’s all based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which has a lot of research to prove it can help to improve low self-esteem. You’ll reflect on activities you’re doing that may help or hinder your self-esteem and correct these, as well as managing unhelpful thoughts that get in the way of us feeling good. You’ll be encouraged to practice all the techniques you’ve learnt, and see which ones work best for you.

Module 4

Hopefully you’re feeling good by now, and can think about keeping this going. You’ll think about how to keep up the techniques when you finish the course, and continue to stay well. You’ll also have some recommendations for further reading and support.

The details

  • This an online course. As soon as the course opens, you can start whenever you are ready.
  • You’ll be given access to exercises, advice, and resources, which you can access at any time of the day.
  • We suggest you take your time with the content, taking upto one week each to cover modules 1, 2 and 4, and then 5 weeks to cover module 3 (one week per technique). However, you can set the pace.
  • It only costs £99 (which is less than 1 session of 1:1 CBT).

About me

I am a qualified and BABCP-accredited CBT Therapist with 10+ years experience within the mental health field.

In the middle of the pandemic, I founded Brighter Life Therapy, an award-winning private practice, providing CBT therapy and counselling to children and adults. I knew we needed more mental health support than ever before.

I am also a Lecturer and Supervisor at a university providing CBT training to future therapists.
